Über Krypto-Katholicismus, Proselytenmacherey, Jesuitismus, geheime Gesellschaften
No prior complete English translation of this text has been found.
Catalog searches in UNESCO Index Translationum, Open Library, and other scholarly databases confirm that while Johann August von Starck's later work 'Theoduls Gastmahl' was translated into English in the 19th century (as 'The Banquet of Theodulus'), his 1787 polemical work 'Über Krypto-Katholicismus, Proselytenmacherey, Jesuitismus, geheime Gesellschaften' has no recorded English translation. Academic literature on the Counter-Enlightenment and Freemasonry continues to cite the original German edition.

Step into the heart of an 18th-century 'culture war' where Enlightenment logic meets paranoid conspiracy theories. Johann August von Starck deconstructs the 'fake news' of his era, defending himself against accusations of being a 'Crypto-Catholic' while exposing the alarmism of the Berlin intellectual elite.
