Step into a 17th-century laboratory where industrial grit meets the golden secrets of the philosophers. Goossen van Vreeswyk’s manual bridges the gap between the practical smelting of 'wild' ores and the high-alchemy of the Table of Hermes, teaching readers how to master fire, acid, and the very essence of the earth.
