Artis cabalisticae. Tomus I
Only partial translations or excerpts exist. This is the first complete English translation.
The work 'Artis Cabalisticae' (1587) is a compendium edited by Johannes Pistorius that collects several important Renaissance treatises on Kabbalah, including works by Johannes Reuchlin and others. While individual treatises within this collection (such as Reuchlin's 'De Arte Cabalistica') have been translated into English separately, the complete 1587 Pistorius collection as a unified volume has never been translated into English. Therefore, this is a first complete translation.

Step into the ultimate Renaissance synthesis of magic, mysticism, and philosophy where the ancient Hebrew Kabbalah is revealed as the secret key to the universe. Johannes Pistorius assembles a brilliant defense of this 'hidden theology,' demonstrating how sacred names and mystical alphabets bridge the gap between human reason and divine power.
