The 'Artis Auriferae' (1593), whose title translates to 'The Art of Gold-making', is a seminal alchemical anthology containing multiple distinct works. While several of its most significant constituent texts have been translated into English individually—most notably the 'Testamentum Morieni' by Lee Stavenhagen in 1974 and the 'Turba Philosophorum' by A.E. Waite in 1896—the complete multi-volume anthology has never been published as a single, unified English translation. Therefore, a translation of the entire 1593 collection would constitute the first complete English translation of the work.
