Schutzschrift für die Aechtheit der Rosenkreutzergesellschaft
No prior complete English translation of this text has been found.
The 1782 German work 'Schutzschrift für die Echtheit der Rosenkreuzergesellschaft' is a translation of Robert Fludd's Latin 'Tractatus Apologeticus' (1617). While English translations of Fludd's original Latin apologetic works exist (such as Adam McLean's 1981 translation of the 'Apologia Compendiaria' and 'Tractatus Apologeticus'), no evidence was found in any catalog search for an English translation of this specific 1782 German edition. Following the instruction that translations from the original language (Latin) do not preclude the first-translation status of a version in a different source language (German), this work is determined to be a first English translation.
